2018 TNCC Registration

Two Day Provider Course 7th edition

TNCC was developed and implemented to identify a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge. The TNCC Provider course is a course designed to provide the emergency nurse with essential cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills to care for the adult trauma patient.   The course is held over 2 days and with successful completion, the participant will obtain a 4-year verification and 14.65 continuing nursing education contact hours.

Registration must occur 30 days prior to the course date to meet National ENA  course and study materials guideline. 

  •   TNCC requires on-line course work & manual (7th edition)  prior to the classroom face to face lecture and psychomotor stations
  • This course has a maximum instructor to participant ratio of 1:6 per ENA guidelines- if you are not confirmed in the course, you may be turned away due to mandatory ratios.
  • Space is limited
  • Fee includes course manual, 2 day course instruction, lectures, pre test review, psychomotor skills practice and testing stations with CEU’s upon successful completion: successful completion includes validation card for 4 years.
  • partial refund only if course registration is canceled prior to 30 days from course..
  • If you do not have confirmation email from AZENA’s registrar, (Rachel Garner)you ARE NOT registered for the course you want.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY DELEGATE APPLICATION 2018

The Arizona Emergency Nurses Association (AZ ENA) invites its active members to apply as delegates for the fall General Assembly at Emergency Nursing 2018 Conference. Serving as a delegate is a wonderful way to be involved in global emergency nursing issues and to network with emergency nurses from around the world. AZ ENA Delegates are selected based on meeting attendance as well as local, state, and national involvement. ENA Delegates are allocated from National ENA based on the overall membership numbers per state. National ENA determines this number annually. AZ ENA, with our current two-tiered state structure sends the president, secretary/treasurer and past president or president-elect as automatic delegates. A basic criterion for those wishing to be considered follows: You must be a member of ENA for at least one year starting from the time you attend your first state meeting. You must attend at least 50% of the AZ ENA State meetings, one of which must be physical attendance beginning with the second quarter of previous year through the first quarter of the current year (i.e. March 2017 to January 2018). You must be a “member in good standing” which means that you meet the above stated requirements. Committee involvement points are awarded if you are current with all reports & financials at the state level. Points are then awarded for participation and certification. The members with the highest point totals are then offered an AZ ENA Delegate position. Once selected as a delegate there are additional requirements to serve.  AZ ENA STATE MEETING ATTENDANCE: (Attendance verified by State Secretary)  To qualify/be considered completed forms must be submitted to:

June 11, 2018. Delegates will be notified once AZENA receives the number of delegates we may send to General Assembly from National ENA. This is usually the second/third week in June. AZENA financial support of delegates is a stipend to assist in covering costs of travel and meals.
